※Please Read Before Mounting Tires※
-
No Returns After Tire Mounting:
-
ㆍWheels cannot be returned due to fitment issues once tires have been mounted.
-
Caution with Tire Changers:
-
ㆍPower-assisted tire changers can damage wheels. Please use them with care.
-
Tube-Type Wire Wheels:
-
ㆍTubes must be used with tube-type wire wheels.
-
Stud Length Requirement:
-
ㆍEnsure that the stud length does not exceed 1 1/8 inches. Excessively long studs may prevent proper tightening of the wheels.
-
Radial Tire Direction:
-
ㆍRadial tires must be remounted on the same side of the vehicle from which they were removed.
-
ㆍDo not change the direction of rotation.
-
Air Pressure Limit - To ensure safety and proper use of tires, it is essential not to exceed the recommended inflation pressures:
ㆍ13" to 15" tires: Do not inflate beyond 35 psi.
ㆍ16" and larger tires: Do not inflate beyond 40 psi.
Check Stud Length:
-
ㆍIf the stud length exceeds 1 1/8 inches, cut the stud to shorten it or use a spacer behind
-
ㆍthe adapter to adjust the length.
Ensure Correct Positioning of Hub Adapters:
-
ㆍVerify that the hub adapter fits flat against the hub and the brake mounting pad.
-
ㆍIf there is any interference, identify the point of contact and remove any high points.
Proper Adapter Installation:
-
ㆍOn the left side of the vehicle, install the hub adapter marked "LEFT" with the white mesh thread protector.
-
ㆍOn the right side of the vehicle, install the hub adapter marked "RIGHT" with the red or brown mesh thread protector.
Important Installation Instructions
-
Avoid Using High-Impact Wrenches: Do not use high-impact wrenches to secure lug nuts. This can damage the adapter and result in improper lug nuts torque.
-
Check Adapter Rotation: Once installed, the adapter should rotate freely by hand without rubbing or interference.
Wheel Rotation Test:
-
ㆍSpin the wheels by hand to ensure there is no rubbing against the brake calipers.
-
ㆍRock the wheel assembly to confirm that the knock-off cap is fully seated on the wheel.
-
ㆍEnsure there is no looseness.
Cap Retightening:
-
ㆍAfter lowering the vehicle, use a lead hammer to firmly tighten the caps by hammering them.
-
ㆍThere should be no movement, even under the hardest blows from the hammer.
-
ㆍAfter the initial 25 miles of driving, re-check the tightness of the knock-off caps. Continue to tighten them every 40 miles, then check their tightness every few weeks thereafter
-
ㆍWire wheels should always be checked regularly to ensure the knock-off caps are properly tightened.
