What is Chevy Texas Edition?
The Chevy Texas Edition, more formally known as the Chevrolet Texas Edition, is a special variant of the existing Chevy Silverado LT & LTZ variants. Unlike the LT & LTZ trims, the Texas Edition packs in a lot more goodies. Some of them include a bigger and more powerful engine, bucket seats for extra comfort, better mileage, improved set of wheels and tires, special ‘Texas Edition’ badges which vary with different trims, and a slight but smart facelift. The truck variant has been so-named in honor of the Lone Star State, Texas.
What are Texas Edition rims made of?
Unlike the standard Chevy LT & LTZ trims, the Texas Edition of Chevrolet’s Silverado truck family gets an upgrade. With 20-inch polished aluminum wheels, the 2020 and 2021 models of this new variant has created a stir in the aftermarket rim segment too. All Texas Edition rims are made of high-quality Aluminum. Are Ford and Chevy rims compatible?
No, they are not. There are several reasons for this. First, Ford and Chevrolet are 2 rival companies with a history of deep-seated competition. Much of the difference lies in the lug pattern. Even if the 2 rims have 6 lugs each, they will still not fit or can substitute one another because they are made differently.
